The Superintendent position will manage the daily on-site production of multiple projects in the Greater Phoenix area. This position will manage and coordinate daily site activities for masonry construction from beginning to end. This position reports directly to the General Superintendent and works closely with the Project Manager, and Project Coordinator. Diamond Masonry offers competitive compensation based on experience and skill level. This is a full-time role between $68,000-$78,000 annual compensation, depending on the candidate's qualifications. Primary Scope Responsible For:
Awarded Jobs / Contracts:
Meet with the Project Manager & Estimator at the beginning of each project
Read and understand the scope of work for each assigned project
Communicate any identified contract risks discovered, including inclusions, schedule, exclusions, clauses, etc., to General Superintendent and Project Manager to determine if change orders are needed
Generate RFIs as needed
Ensure that each plan and/or specification revision issued from customer is reviewed and understood to complete expected scope
Ensure subcontractors and Diamond Masonry field crews are working from the contracted/permitted set of plans
Review scope of work changes with GS and PM to ensure material changes are added/subtracted
Subcontractors:
Organize and Schedule Pre-Construction meeting with all subcontractors to review scope
Review and approve subcontractors work and billing
Provide Block, Rebar, Concrete, Grout and material orders for lot specific areas for assigned projects to office for site delivery set up
Manage crews and equipment to keep project on budget
Review weekly timesheets and approve for payroll and billing purposes
Attend weekly Safety Meetings
