Project Manager with Water and Wastewater Self-Perform Experience
ASR Construction Group, LLC is looking for a motivated team player who has at least 6 years of experience with increasing project responsibilities to join our growing water/wastewater construction team. The Project Manager is responsible for performing the assigned project management duties, maintaining project organization, performing this work on time with the highest standard of quality and while meeting schedule and budget obligations.
Reporting to company management, the Project Manager maintains a positive working relationship with all owner and design team representatives assigned to the job. Communicates with these representatives as frequently as necessary to keep them informed on the project status and any events that may impact schedule, scope of work, and budget. Reports any disputes or problems encountered to the project manager and helps develop solutions.
Generates and tracks change orders to owners and subcontractors. Analyzes job cost reports with company management. Updates and submits monthly owner payment application. Reviews and approves percentage complete for project payables with the project superintendent and reviews and codes general invoices for payment and submits for review and final approval.
Attends and participates in project meetings that may include weekly owner and subcontractor job site, turnover, pre-punch, punch, and closeout meetings, and takes and distributes meeting minutes. Maintains an updated set of Contract Drawings throughout the project. Distributes and tracks all contract document changes to the project superintendent and all subcontractors affected by the change.
Creates and tracks initial RFI and sends to engineer. Distributes RFI response from the engineer to the superintendent and all subcontractors affected by RFI. Reviews submittals for conformity to specification and drawings, tracks all submittals, and returns them to the subcontractors after engineer’s review.
Works with the superintendent to draft master schedules and obtain updated schedules from the superintendent to distribute to the project team, subcontractors, and owner.
Must be organized and able to work on multiple projects at the same time. Other assigned duties as required to successfully complete projects, provide the highest level of customer service, and to ensure all workers go home safely
at the end of each day.
