Sargon is a family-owned company specializing in masonry, stone and steel construction. Sargon Masonry Construction is a full-service land development and commercial masonry contractor specializing in perimeter fencing, retaining walls, masonry structures, entry monuments, footings and many other various design-build retaining wall systems. The Project Coordinator role will support Sargon’s Land Development division in all areas of operations including financial reporting, procurement, documentation, and timecard processing. This position will work directly with the Project Manager and Project Engineer in supporting all construction phases of awarded projects. This position reports directly to the Project Manager and will work closely with all Sargon departments.

Primary Scope Responsible For: Awarded Contracts / Jobs o Maintain a working knowledge of contracts with owners and subcontracts with trade partners. Assist Land Superintendents & Land Project Manager in the implementation of policies and the execution of the project. Prepare job books for all awarded jobs. Prepare SDS binders for all awarded jobs Procurement Identify and expedite long lead subcontract items. Schedule and expedite submittals of shop drawings, samples, and supplier data for timely approval. Schedule subcontractor work and ensure subcontractors are ready and on schedule, as directed by Project Manager. Distribute new drawings, changes, approved submittals, RFI responses and other project information to all affected parties.

Anticipate and record official notices: Beneficial Occupancy, Substantial Completion, Certificate of Occupancy, Notice of Completion, Warranties/Guarantees. Maintain request for information log and post RFI responses on record drawings.

  • Payroll Weekly timesheet review for land development field employees and Sargon partners – review all items including but not limited to, EE code, current pay rate, days worked, job numbers listed, sick time, holiday pay and piece rates and turn into Accounting by 12pm on Fridays. Separation Paperwork provided to Human Resources in timely manner after separation

  • Document Control Prepare and monitor labor costs reports and job diary including: Site visits as necessary. Evaluation of construction activities. Prepare and monitor all jobsite documents inducing but not limited to, inspection records, accident logs, building permit inspections, and sign offs. Update record drawings. Maintain submittal log.
